ASTE Membership

Membership in ASTE is for the calendar year. Full membership for the 2008 year is $90.00.  It includes a year's subscription to the Journal of Science Teacher Education, the ASTE newsletters, access to our member’s only online resources and ASTE listservs, free posting of general announcements and employment position announcements on our website, and discount registration rates to our annual international conference.  If you are a full time student at an accredited institution, do not hold a terminal degree, and have an academic advisor that will verify your student status, you may join ASTE for $50.00 per year and enjoy all the benefits of a full ASTE member.

Refund Policy:  Refund for conference registration and conference registration for spouse/partner are subject to a 5% service charge.  Full refunds will be given for tours/events that do not achieve the minimum number of participants.   Sales on all other items, such as membership dues, journal subscriptions, conference workshops, and conference tours/events requiring no minimum participant level, are final.  Request for conference registration refund should be addressed to the ASTE Executive Secretary, and must be received two weeks prior to the start of the conference.
