ASTE Membership

Membership in ASTE is for the calendar year. Full membership for the 2010 year is $90.00.  It includes a year's subscription to the Journal of Science Teacher Education, The Journal of Elementary Science Education, the ASTE newsletters, access to our member’s only online resources and ASTE listservs, free posting of general announcements and employment position announcements on our website, and discount registration rates to our annual international conference in January 2010.  If you are a full time student at an accredited institution, do not hold a terminal degree, and have an academic advisor that will verify your student status, you may join ASTE for $50.00 per year and enjoy all the benefits of a full ASTE member.

Refund Policy:  Refund for conference registration are subject to a 5% service charge. Request for conference registration refund should be addressed to the ASTE Executive Director, and must be received two weeks prior to the start of the conference. Sales on all other items, such as membership dues, journal subscriptions, conference workshops, and conference tours, are final.  A $30.00 fee will be charged on all "NSF" and "Closed Account" checks returned from the bank.
