Registration for the conference is now open. Early-bird rates
apply through December 7th, 2008. You must join ASTE for the 2009
calendar year to register at the reduced member's registration rate.

The Marriott has plenty of space for the ASTE meeting (floor
plan): 11 meeting rooms, a beautiful atrium and exhibitor space.
It is right next to Connecticut
Convention Center and the New
Connecticut Science Center,
scheduled to open in Spring 2009.
Transportation
Ground transportation between Bradley International Airport (BDL)
and the conference hotel in Hartford:
Register and pay for round trip ground transportation at
https://www.doublea.com/airportshuttle/. The cost for a round trip
shuttle fare is $25. The deadline for registering for this transport
service is December 19. Anyone planning to travel to the ASTE
conference from Bradley Airport is strongly encouraged to take advantage
of this method of getting to and from the conference hotel, as the only
other option is to travel by taxi (approx. $45 each way).
Local Attractions
Local Hartford
attractions include the Capitol, Front Street , Bushnell Center for the
Performing Arts, Wadsworth Athenaeum Museum of Art, Old State House, UConn,
Cabela's, great restaurants and shopping.
