Mid-continent Research for Education and Learning (McREL),
based in Denver, Colorado, is a private nonprofit organization whose purpose is
to improve education through applied research and development. McREL provides
products and services to promote the best instructional practices in the
classroom. We draw upon the best of education research to translate what works
into innovations and results. Our staff of highly respected educators and

Content Analyst - Science
Full Time
Position
Under general supervision candidate
will research, analyze, and develop internal and external K-12 educational
documents. Contribute to the preparation of technical reports and the revision
of existing documents for clients, to ensure that content is optimized and
aligns with other McREL documents. Develop estimates and compile information
for bids and proposals.
This position requires knowledge of
content area, education standards and how they are implemented in the
classroom.
The ability to demonstrate analytical
thinking is essential as well as effective communication with both the public
and internal staff. A Bachelor’s Degree in the primary subject area of analysis
and one to two years teaching experience is also required.
