ASTE 2021 Proposals due July 13th!

Dear ASTE Colleagues,

We hope you and your families are well!

Amid challenging times and limited face-to-face interactions, we remain excited to host the 2021 ASTE Conference (January 13-16, 2021).  The leadership of ASTE continues to monitor events and seek input from the membership regarding the 2021 conference, and they anticipate making a decision in August as to whether the conference will be postponed, in-person, virtual, or some other combination. We encourage members to continue to submit proposals for sessions, and the deadline is 11:59:59PM Pacific Daylight time, July 13, 2020.

The health and safety of our membership is of utmost importance as we plan for the 2021 conference.  If we are unable convene in Salt Lake in 2021, we hope to host you in the near future.

Salt Lake provides an amazing venue, with over 60 national and state parks within a drive of a few hours. Utah is truly nature’s playground, with miles upon miles of diverse and spectacular terrain, including deep forests and craggy peaks, vast deserts and lunar salt flats, red-rock towers and arches, secret slot canyons, and winding rivers. Opportunities to explore and enjoy the outdoors are endless, you may want to plan a few days before or after the conference to experience Utah in its natural glory!
