Call for ASTE 2021 Proposal Reviewers

Greetings,

The ASTE leadership team continues to evaluate data so that we can decide how to proceed for our 2021 annual conference. We appreciate that a number of you have completed the survey about your plans at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeMy7INiQ_Q-reBDMLJxJSN8z5A_-qkT3fuVCyUF4CqYOcPwA/viewform If you have not yet completed the survey, please do so.

In the meantime, we are proceeding to plan for a conference!  That means proposals should be submitted, and they will need to be reviewed. So, please consider signing up to be a reviewer!

Each year, ASTE relies on support from members to provide at least two anonymous reviews for each conference proposal. We need at least 150-200 people to keep the work load to a few proposals per reviewer. If you would be willing to serve as a reviewer, please click the following link: http://theaste.org/meeting/proposal-submission/proposal-reviewer-signup/ .

You must be a current ASTE member to serve as a reviewer. When you sign-up, please indicate how many proposals you are willing to review, and select your first and second preferences for threads. You will need to log in before completing the form. If you volunteered when you submitted a proposal, there is no need to repeat the process.

You may also elect to serve as a presider for one of the sessions at the 2021 conference in Salt Lake City, Utah. The conference dates are January 13-16, 2021. Please consider serving in this capacity as well. Presiders introduce the session, keep presentations moving along, and help the presenters and audience enjoy comfortable, productive interactions.  Presiders are not discussants, so you don’t need to worry if the session theme is outside of your expertise.  If you have questions, please contact Brooke Whitworth, program coordinator, at bwhitwo@clemson.edu .

Thank you in advance for the support of the ASTE 2021 Annual Conference, and stay safe!
