Dear [authorname],
We regret to inform you that your proposal #[proposalID]: [proposalTitle], has not been accepted for the [confyear] Association for Science Teacher Education Conference.
All proposals were peer-reviewed using a standard rubric based on the submission criteria with a final decision determined by the appropriate Thread Coordinator. All available reviewer comments and rubric ratings are provided below. We hope you find the reviewers’ comments helpful and invite you to consider submitting another proposal for a future ASTE conference. As the submitting author of the proposal, please contact all other authors to make sure they are informed of the decision and have received the reviewers’ ratings and comments.
New for ASTE this year, we are offering a Work in Progress Showcase in both in-person and virtual formats. The Work in Progress Showcase has been designed as an opportunity for presenters to share scholarly work that is still in development and would benefit from feedback from ASTE conference attendees. We invite you to submit a poster presentation to share your work in progress. Work in Progress Showcase poster submission require less detail than a full conference proposal and will include program abstract and proceedings abstract in addition to poster title and presenter information. We will accept submissions until November 15th. In-person Work in Progress Showcase poster presentations will be limited to 34 submissions, there is no limit to the number of virtual poster presentations. The Work in Progress Showcase submission system will be live no later than October 1st.
We hope you will consider joining us in-person or online at the ASTE Conference this January. The conference will provide exciting opportunities for discussing the latest research, making professional connections, and fostering friendships. See [meetingURL] for the latest news about the conference and to make hotel reservations.
Sincerely,
Kelly Feille
